I am recruiting to my online forum, where everyone makes money.

I've just started a new forum and I'm recruiting for members.

The aim of the forum (called the Moneyclub1000) is to assemble members who have the same aim - to make money from online business opportunities. Only genuine opportunities are considered and there are no 'get rich quick schemes'. The club will allow us to co-ordinate our efforts to really make the system work for every single member.

So I need people to join the forum. Its totally free, you can share your ideas, add comments and feedback without any obligations or risks.

Even if you're not interested in becoming a member everything is visible. There are no 'hidden' areas or paid areas. If you like the forum you can help make it a success for every member, all you have to do is join it. Then tell your friends. There really is nothing to loose except a few minutes of your time. Every member will gain.

So the sooner you join the sooner we get things moving with the Moneyclub1000

best wishes

A free club to build your downlines and online wealth.

If you've read some of my earlier posts you'll see how I have been helping people recruiting their downlines.

To enhance this further I've started a new forum. Its called the Moneyclub1000 and its dedicated to creating downlines for every member for free. Therefore every member of the club (forum) makes money. Due to the way in which it is operated there are no upfront costs and no obligations. In fact all of the forum is visible to non members so nothing is hidden either. Have a look and see for yourself.

http://moneyclub1000.phpbb3now.com/

All members will benefit. The club's unusual approach helps everyone and its free.

Its only just been started so the sooner you become a member the sooner every member benefits.

You will also be able to feedback any thoughts you have to a wider community.

Youtube for advertising

Check out my new Youtube advertisment below:

Rather than make some long boring presentation I decided to try the 'TV advertising' principle. Basically it is a very condensed version of my website showing the core of my program. As a result of this and the web page of the same name on my website I have more than doubled my signups.

What exactly is a scam?

Identifying and avoiding scams within Internet marketing is key to being able to be successful. So first of all how do we define a scam?

Starting with the dictionary definition ; Scam - trick, swindle, fraud or a story or rumour.

These are all negative words but they do not convey the damage that is done to the victims of a scam. Not only in terms of financial loss (which can be extensive) but more importantly in loss of confidence and self belief.

So how do we spot a scam? Actually this is not that easy, particularly within the online world. This is largely due to the fact that almost anyone can produce a great looking website with convincing arguments to invest in their system. So if they are hard to spot by just looking at the surface, how do we avoid getting 'sucked' into the hype.

The only two tools that we have at our disposal are own own common sense and time.

Common Sense:

  1. Use your head not your heart.
  2. Do not spend more than you can afford to lose.
  3. Research the system in question.
  4. Ignore any testimonials unless they can be independently verified.
  5. Understand how the revenue is generated.
  6. Remember that there really are no get rich schemes.

Time:

  1. If this is a new system be wary.
  2. revisit the site a few days / weeks or even months later. If its still going strong then perhaps you can go ahead.

I know that some of these are obvious and that some seem extreme. This list is not exhaustive so you will always need to be on your guard. I do understand that it's easy to get swept along with the hype and promise of easy money (it's happened to me and in hindsight they are easy to avoid).

Personal recommendations are generally OK as long as you do actually know where they're coming from.

So the old saying of "buyer beware" has never been more apt.

Finally if you check out my previous post you'll see how I use these principles for my own system. On my main site I actively encourage potential prospects to investigate, and I also provide measures for people to make their own judgements and encourage them to revisit my site when they are ready. I also show advertisements on this blog that may illustrate some of the issues discussed here. As always comments on this or any subject are welcome.

The 30 second cash machine

I have discovered a new way of promoting my system.

Over the last few weeks I have been adding and amending my website to help with the content and increase the information that it contains. This is good as the content is now quite comprehensive. However, it suddenly struck me that my site had become a little too complex to capture some prospects. I thought about how to reduce the content whilst not compromising on the quality of the site.

Then I had an idea, I needed a short site that contains just the 'core essentials' of my downline building program. So I constructed a short page and called it my 30 second cash machine. The reason for the name is to try and highlight how quick the page can be read and understood. Effectively this is like a commercial for my main page.

The page can be seen here : Cash Machine

The other thing it helps me do is promote a couple of my downline members who help me recruit and build the downlines. This allows an even more effective (and faster) program than ever before.

More promotion for my own downline

My philosophy for helping my downline members by recruiting for them is working well. In fact its been so successful that I'm going to add them to my blog.

Starting in April I'm planning to directly promote some of my downline members on this blog. The intention is to update the page weekly to help my newest recruits build up their own downlines quickly. This benefits them as well as me and allows them to be more proactive in recruiting online for themselves. The old saying that 'success breeds success' is definitely true. It is much easier to gain new prospects when you can show them you own success.

All I need to do now is try and find a suitable format for presenting the links. I may even present it in 'league' format so that visitors can decide which links they would like to follow.

The advantages to this system are low cost and low maintenance. We also build a community spirit to help each other.

Do I need a new Blog ?

Although I've only had this blog running for a short time I have already learnt a lot. I am seriously considering moving to my own hosted blog system. Most likely I will use Wordpress to help with my online marketing campaign.

It seems that this will give the one of the best ways to extend my blog, promote my program and generate advertising revenue (all good things in my view). I presume the down side is its a little harder to set up and get running. Hopefully the benefits out weigh the difficulties.

If anyone who reads this has any views on what systems work then I'll be interested in getting some feedback.

Adsense update - why use it?

This is just a quick update to say that if you're in need of earning a few extra dollars then Adsense from Google is the way to go. Even though this blog has only been running for one month and with only a few visitors initially. I have made around $4 from the small amount of adsense links on this page.

I know that $4 dollars is not that great. I'm hoping to at least double it each month from now on.

You might ask, why do I even advertise similar or even rival opportunities on my blog? Well it's simple really. I believe that my system enhances the approach taken by most other sites. The easiest way to independently verify this is to display the competitions sites. If you see some links that look interesting then by all means try them out (bookmark this page first though!).

I believe that when you have seen how I help my downline members on my site - www.success2009.info and then check out some of the others sites that generally don't, you'll come back and take advantage of my program. If you happen to find a better system then that's great as well (if that happens let me know!). Either way you benefit, which is why you came to my site in the first place.

The by-product of this of course is some extra income. Over the next few weeks I will be investigating this further and in four weeks time I will publish my latest findings. I'm hoping that this will show all visitors how it has worked out for me and maybe inspire some of you to succeeding with me.

Are the free traffic exchanges of any use to you?

The biggest problem in getting exposure to your site is getting high traffic volume right? Wrong, the biggest problem in getting exposure to your site is getting the right sort of traffic. Or, to put it another way what would you prefer? Ten thousand visitors who are uninterested in what your promoting or 10 visitors who will all sign up to your program.

What is important here is to understand the quality of the visitors that you do get. With this in mind I'm going to try and answer the question: Are the free traffic exchanges of any use to you?
Before I try and answer this question I think I'd better mention that (as with all Internet advertising) there are no definitives. Everyone's experience or 'expertise' is subjective. In short if you show an advert to enough people at random you will get some sales, that's just the law of averages. However, most marketeers would like to stack the odds in their favour (at least a little bit anyway!). On the face of it the free traffic exchanges offer you the chance to promote your site with like minded people who will be interested in what your saying. The problem is that
what makes this look like a good idea is also generally the downside. Nearly everyone on the traffic exchange is more interested in promoting their own site rather than joining your system. There are new visitors to the traffic exchanges each day but this is a relatively low number in comparison. If you have enough 'clout' with online marketing you can 'flood' the traffic exchanges with great looking capture pages. I'm sure that you will have see the same pages in many places by now. If you're just starting out the promise of free advertising may look irresistible. I found that the time and effort needed to get enough exposure through this route was too difficult to maintain over any period of time. I tried paying the membership fees to buy 'credits' but this also had little impact on my success.

In conclusion I think that there are only two ways to get the quality of prospects to your site that you require.

1. Spend time working on your website, make it content rich, make it relevant, update it regularly, promote it with links and also work on the search engine optimization.
2. Pay for targeted advertising. Only use well recognized companies who specialize in this field.

Using this technique you will get the prospects who are looking for your type of product and they will be fresh i.e. they will have not come from a 'pool' of current marketeers.

So, to answer the original question, are the free traffic exchanges of any use to you.....Maybe.

As I said before its a numbers game. Probably they are of little practical use but they certainly can't hurt. I certainly have gained prospects from them in the past but in comparatively low numbers when judged against more targeted (and expensive) methods.

More on website promotion - paid traffic.

For the last week or so I have been trying a new experiment. Paying for traffic to my site. Perhaps its a little early as yet but the results so far are dissappointing. Certainly my traffic counter has started going up more often but my number of sales remains the same.

In a few weeks time I should be able to publish my conclusions for all types of web promotion that I have used along with my opinions of the systems that I have tried.

Shortly I will be re-trying an old favorite - Google's Adwords. This is the most expensive of all the options but has served well in the past. Lets see if its still as effective today.

We'll see what happens.

Are the free traffic exchanges worth the effort?

When I first started in internet marketing I discovered free traffic exchanges. I thought wow! FREE advertising, I'll do really great. I then spent every spare moment adding credits to my traffic exchanges in the belief that that I would get loads of web traffic and leads delivered to my site. Whilst I got loads of hits to my website I got no actual prospects or valid leads. After a few weeks of trying I gave up this line of advertising.

Since then I have learnt a lot. What you really need to succeed are people who are actually interested in your own site or opportunity. These are the real leads that you need on your site.

Now forward wind to the present, as an experiment I retried some more traffic exchanges to see if my theory was correct....free traffic exchanges are full of like minded people trying to find leads for their own programs. Apart from a very small minority of new customers everyone surfing these sites are doing what I used to do, building credits for their own advertising.

So, what I do different these days is pay for fresh targeted advertising to attract people that are interested in what I am doing. That way I get a great conversion rate which has proved to be really cost effective.

If you disagree with my viewpoint then try some traffic exchanges for yourself. It certainly is a numbers game and you will (eventually) pick up new prospects but it can be a long process requiring a lot of patience.

I will write more on this in a few weeks after trying some other options. I'll be interested in other peoples viewpoint. Perhaps I just used the wrong exchanges.

Is now a good time for you?

When I started with the online marketing business just over three years ago I found that I had some initial success. Then after a few months I found that I was struggling to make any progress. At first I thought it was me, I tried some different ideas and struggled on. Later in the year things picked up and I forgot about my personal 'downturn'. The next year the same thing happened. It struck me that like most business there are seasonal variations. No one ever tells you this and in a true global market I thought that this was an odd thing. Eventually I came to the conclusion that (and this is just my observation) on the whole the biggest subscribers to online marketing are based in the northern hemisphere, hence the summer months seem to be quieter than the winter, why is this?

The economic downturn is probably a 'double edged sword'. On the one hand more people than ever are looking to supplement their incomes, which is good for the majority of us who run our systems responsibly and with integrity. This can be bad though for the vulnerable who may believe the hype of some sites promising the get rich route. We have to help educate our prospects on being sensible and using heads rather than hearts.

So to answer the question.... is now a good time for you? YES, the next few months could be the best that we'll see for while. By working as teams we can succeed. Don't be complacent, continual improvement is key. I for one are looking forward to a great success in 2009.

Verdict on article writing

This week I have started to write some articles for submission on other popular blogs. So far this has proven easier than I initially thought. The tricky bit appears to be to be able to write something original and unique. The secret (at least for me) is to think of your subject and your own personal viewpoint. Do not research what other people have written on that subject or cloud your 'view'. Then write it out as quick as you can (mistakes and all). When you have 'brain dumped' you can go back correct errors and formatting to make it presentable.

What I did then was search for a suitable and high ranking blog on the subject, spend some time reading their content and if its suitable submit your article to them for consideration. I also ask for feedback. Its a great learning experience. Its also great to see your content on other sites. The biggest benefit is to get more traffic to your own blog and you'll probably find it quite addictive too!

My system is now even better value.

If you have already looked at my site you'll be pleased to see the latest update. For the rest of February and all of March I will be recruiting for my downline members for free.

See the full details at : http://server16.dedicateduk.com/~success2/

If this works out well (I'm pretty sure it will) then I may be able to extend that offer further. What this means is that when you join GDI through me you will be able to sit back and wait for me to start filling your downline for you. However, its not a 'total free lunch' I will ask you to contribute to your own downline as well but by then you'll already see the power of my system with no risk and almost no outlay.

If you have any questions you can add them here as I check this blog nearly every day or when you join GDI I'll send you a welcome message and let you know anything else that you may want to know at that stage.

What is honest on the web?

During my research into web marketing, online sites and scams in general I found one recurring theme that I found difficult to believe. How do you prove whether someone is honest or not.

This is a more complex subject than I first thought. The big 'players' in online marketing have massive budgets to bombard all visitors with long confusing sites. They all say their honest and that their system is the best, will get you instant results etc. Even claiming that you'll earn thousands overnight.

Without lots of research (both online and offline) it is hard to prove their claims either way. The same goes for testimonials.

My view is that anything on the web can be quite easily deceiving. Therefore to make any decision on what system is right for you you have to use common sense and logic as your primary tool.

What I mean by this is firstly don't rush into the the first opportunity you see (by all means bookmark anything that looks interesting). Personally I discount any site that makes you sign up before disclosing their 'secrets'. Then check out the opportunity using search engines, recommendations or anything that can be independently obtained. This make take an hour or two or even several weeks. Remember if you really want to succeed with online marketing you will need some patience - there are no 'get rich quick schemes', no free lunches etc.

One of the reasons I run my program is to avoid all of these associated problems. I strongly believe that honesty and integrity have a place in on marketing. I am proud to state that I break the conventions set by most other sites. My simple one page site (see the link at the end of the blog page) lays everything out for you to see, I tell you how much its going to cost upfront and how my system works. Its incredibly simple and effective. It also provides a long term residual income that keeps on growing.

My last tip is very obvious really - do not spend out more than you can afford to loose. Even with guarantees from sites no one can actually guarantee you'll make money.

I also welcome any feedback from my downline members and on this blog.

Is online marketing a job, business or hobby?

I was thinking about this question last night. What really is online marking to most people.

I think the answer is that to most people it is a hobby. This may present them with problems in terms of actually making money from it.

If it were your job, or better still your business you would ensure you spent more time, money or resources on being successfull. By viewing it as a hobby you may well say "well if I make a few bucks then I'll take it more seriously".

What I am doing is different. I am viewing it as a business, I invest in effective advertising and get good returns on my investment. Any recruits I get benefit from this because I advertise for my entire downline. I'm in this for the long term to make real residual incomes for myself and for all of my downline. The other thing that I do differently is to lead by example. I put more than 95% of my new recruits directly into my downline members who need them. That way both they and I benefit. In return they help promote the system collectivley. This works much better than a group of individuals working independantly. The best thing is the opportunity used is extremly low cost (no more than $11 per month).

Check out the link at the end of the page to find out more.

How much money do you need to change your life?

I was thinking about this today.....how much do I need?

I guess there are two possible variations - how much do I need or how much do I want?

Ultimately any improvement in your own financial position must be a good thing. With that in mind I need to re-inforce my thoughts. Start small, continually improve and build to a real income. This has allowed me to build from a small (and more importantly low cost) opportunity into something far in excess of what I started with. Even so there is far more I can do to helpothers and as a result it will help me. As long as we use an honest and ethical system everybody who takes part will be better off.

So to answer the question (in a round about way). If I increase the income for my downline and myself by even a single dollar in a month we have achieved a good thing. Now times that by 10 or say 100. How does that sound?

The system that I now use allows this to happen for a tiny initial outlay (max of $11 dollars per month). Then by all working together we can achieve more than any of us can on our own.

If you think it sounds simple then you'll be pleased to see that in fact it is easy. Read my website for more detail.

More thoughts coming soon.

Online Marketing vs Affiliate selling

Another area that I have investigated for earning some extra money is affiliate selling. That is to sell products on behalf of the 'parent' company and earning a commision in the process. This works extremely well for some markets but can be difficult to build up customers. Just like running a traditional business extensive (and sometimes expensive) marketing campaigns are needed to fully realise the protentials available.

I tried a few systems like this and found that I could not really attract enough customers to make it worthwhile. The biggest problem is that your affiliate website is usually a clone. Identical to all the other affliates. As a result the search engines such as Yahoo and Google will not rank them. The major search engines all prefer unique sites with original content.

As a result I now prefer to direct my efforts to online marketing, check out my website (link available under my profile) to see how I do it. Bookmark the page and have a look at some of the other sites available. You'll see how different my approach is.

Advertising - Definately a good thing

The secret to my systems are the advertising. There are examples of this all around this blog, namely with Google Adsense. In fact the examples you see around this page should inspire you to research this whole area of online systems.

You can see how I use this (and other tools) on my main site:

http://server16.dedicateduk.com/~success2/

I always avoid the 'list building' and common 'viral' advertising route. This is simply because 98% of people who visit these sites are already involved with building their own systems with these tools. I prefer to reach a new audience who are interested in success.
As far as I can workout there are only two ways in this world that you can improve your personal financial postion.

  1. Reduce your outgoings / spending.
  2. Increase your incomings / earnings.

I know this seems obvious but its easy to forget why this is fundamental to success with online marketing programs.

Option 1 - Least risk, minimum gain, not available to every one, not desirable or plain boring.

Option 2 - Can be risky (depends greatly on the system chosen), substantial gains available, available to nearly everyone, desirable, most satisfying.

I'll take option 2 every time. The only things you need to be careful of is finding the right system for you, not spending out more than you can afford, not spending out more than you recieve (apart from some minimal startup costs) and using a reputable company to base your program on.

Welcome

This simple blog has been created by me to help people understand how to make some extra cash on the internet. I will be adding sections on what works, what to look out for and how to avoid scams.

I will also add a section on website promotion, advertising and what systems I use to be successful.

If you want to see how I help people by actually building their downlines for them (using my proven, simple and ultra low cost program) then check out my link below:
